Adolfo Cuéllar Portero is a partner at Zurbarán Abogados and codirector of the Litigation Department.

He received his law degree from the University of Seville (1986 graduating class), specializing in Private Law.

He has been practicing law since 1986. Before founding Zurbarán Abogados in 2018, he joined the law firm of his father, Mr. Adolfo Cuéllar Contreras, and subsequently the professional firm of Cuéllar Abogados, where he was codirector until 2010 when it was renamed Cuéllar y Asociados Abogados.

Adolfo is vice dean of the Seville Bar Association, vice president of the Executive Committee, and member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Practice of Mediation and Arbitration (ASEMARB).

In the academic field, he is an associate professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Seville, where he began teaching in 1990. In addition, he is a professor of the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at Loyola University of Seville (Commercial Law Practice coordinator).

He has also taught specialized courses, seminars, and Master’s degrees and participated in conferences and round tables related to Commercial Law, Procedural Law, Arbitration, and Sports Law, among others.
